Kurt Obermeier GmbH & Co. KG provides customised defoamer solutions for a wide variety of (process) technical issues.

Our range of silicone defoamers is characterised by lower application quantities compared to mineral oil-based defoamers. The most modern silicone defoamers based on organically modified siloxanes exhibit improved compatibility with organic systems.

Silicone-based defoamers

  • 100 % defoamers
    for use in formulations (e.g. cleaners, adhesives, detergents) as processing aids (distillation processes, process water, wastewater) or for the production of defoamer emulsions
  • Defoamer emulsions
    with a wide range of applications, including the areas of food technology, and biotechnology (FDA, Kosher, etc.), as process aids in pharmaceuticals and with special acid or alkali resistance and according to Regulation (EC) No 648/2004 (detergents regulation)
  • Solvent-based defoamers
  • Defoamers based on organically modified siloxanes
    Silicone-containing defoamers, which do not show typical incompatibility to silicone; for use in cooling lubricants, paints and coatings, electroplating and pickling solutions, or other silicone-critical applications.
